Brutus could care less about what Keegan was doing during her time MIA—but hey, it didn’t hurt to check on a dear friend, even if she did disappear for she’d say about a month or two… nothing too big, but it wasn’t awfully small either.

She sucked in a sharp breath, staring at the knob of the door to his office… what would he think seeing her like this? Half-burnt face with disheveled hair kept unkempt, broken arm and one barely functioning eye; she was eating more, at least. More fit, muscular build that certainly came in handy when on missions. She just wished she didn’t get stuck with idiot privates—look where that got her.

Mustering up enough courage, she twisted the handle, pushing the door open.

“Hey,” she murmured sheepishly.

Keegan looks up and his brows furrow. It takes a moment for it to click but he recognises the person standing before him.

"Brutus?" He questions. He takes a moment to look over her and his eyes narrow. He stands and pushes away from the desk "who in the hell let you get here without medical"

So special little treat today, I have two quotes case I felt like one was pretty lackluster compared to the other. I also am going to try to get one quote in particular for the month of June. I just realized I should have made some with different ships each day. Let me write it down for next June….

Catalina “Brutus” Karja

Catalina is the eldest of 4 siblings. She was born god knows where, but was raised in Berlin, Germany. Why? Her parents dropped her off on the side of the road, a bit after her youngest sister (Dalia) was born. Catalina was around the age of 12 by then. It was December when she got left to rot, so a kid, in the cold snow weather, she stood no chance. Luckily, an elderly woman, found her and took her in. Catalina stayed with her till the age of 19. She later went on to join the German Armed Forces till she was 26. After a terrible aviation incident, which caused her to get stranded in the woods for over a week with a Lt. and a Cpl. (She was Sgt.), once the Cpl. died from natural causes, Catalina turned to her first war crime. Cannibalism. She regrets it a whole lot btw. Once rescued, and put into psychiatric help for a year. She ran off to Mexico (the elderly has been dead since she was 22). She hid and stayed there till she was 30. She later on met Valeria, who took her into the Las Almas Cartel as second in hand. They got together when Cat was 34 (it’s current time).

Remember how I said eldest of 4 siblings? Well, Romeo “Jupiter” Karja is right under her. This post isn’t about him, but he has part in her story. Romeo is the first sibling that Catalina got back in contact with. Whilst Catalina was on her last year of the GAF, Romeo had recently joined TF141. Anywho.

When Catalina found out, but from Valeria’s side and all the stuff that went down, Catalina was in a loophole. Either betray her wife, or betray her brother. She surprisingly convinced Valeria to let her try to join TF141, but with the addition of leaving Valeria out of it and to keep her hidden from the TF141. This meant; no talking bout her, no snitching, no betrayal, and etc. Hence the name Brutus.

It took a while for Catalina to get the trust of any member of TF141. Romeo had his part in convincing that Catalina wasn’t a threat or danger. Took a while but it happened. She goes back to Las Almas every night to see her loving wife.

Oh and she owns a strip club/ casino in Las Almas.

Hello, With March 15 Coming up this week(the date of the final mission of Cold War. Final Countdown and Ashes to Ashes). Do you have anything Black Ops(or just Cold War) fandom related planned for that date?

Unless you want to relive Bell's death another year later, remembering how he was brutally murdered and then dumped off a cliff in the middle of nowhere, freezing cold, after being subjected to months of torture, mind control, drugs, and implanted memories, and then forgotten as if he weren't even human, well, no, I don't have anything planned, to be honest.

But suggestions are welcome, obviously. ^^

You ever black out during break at work and now you’ve gone drawn up a comic cover for your CoD OC?

I felt inspired by @sleepyconfusedpotato and just did it, cause, girl, Doe deserves to have her story told

(Now to get motivated to actually finish it lol)

I know last image’s lineart looks really wonky, I accidentally screenshot that bit instead of the before step 😅

Song motivations were 100% Which Witch by Florence and the Machine (specifically this version), Brutus by The Buttress (the instrumental version), and Tili Tili Bom for the story

I do kinda want to have her origin story comic to be leaning more towards psychological thriller/horror (think movies like Bone Collector, Silence of the Lambs and Black Widow with a hint of Black Swan) just to show how fucked up everything in her early life was

Depending on how many pages I do end up making, there’s no guarantee it’s all gonna be lighthearted

Anyway, I hope you like the progress shots so far!
